Saints make a couple of moves

Four players impressed the Saints enough during last weekend's rookie minicamp enough to earned another look.

The Saints signed quarterback Travis Lulay, tackle Carnell Stewart, wide receiver Carlos Robinson and defensive tackle Marcus Pittman. The team also waived quarterback T.C. Ostrander, wide receiver Evan Moore, tackle Akim Millington, and guard Nate McManus.

Lulay spent last season on Seattle's practice squad and was waived in April. Robinson and Pittman come in after participating last weekend as a tryout. Stewart started at right tackle on LSU's 2007 national championship team yet played defensive end his previous three seasons with the Tigers.

The four players released were all signed as undrafted rookie free agents shortly following the draft.
