Thomas out for Sunday; McAllister, McKenzie questionable

While running back Deuce McAllister and cornerback Mike McKenzie practiced all week, both players are questionable for Sunday's season opener against Tampa Bay as they attempt their comeback from season-ending torn ACL injuries.

Defensive tackle Hollis Thomas (triceps) is the only Saints player listed as out versus the Buccaneers game in the Louisiana Superdome.

Other listed as questionable are running back Aaron Stecker (hamstring), linebacker Troy Evans (ankle), defensive tackle Brian Young (foot) and linebacker Mark Simoneau (knee).

The Bucs added quarterback Jeff Garcia to their injury list Friday as he jammed his right pinky finger during practice, but is probable for Sunday's game. Guard Davin Joseph (foot) won't play Sunday.

Wide receiver Joey Galloway (gorin) leads the lengthy list of questionables for Tampa Bay. Others include fullback B.J. Askew (foot), defensive tackle Jovan Haye (groin), wide receivers Antonio Bryant (knee) and Michael Clayton (chest), linebacker Matt McCoy (groin), safety Sabby Piscitelli (knee) and defensive tackle Ryan Sims (thigh).
